About Kimberly Resch
Kimberly has lived a pretty interesting life so far, as some might say. Starting off as a creative at the age of 5, winning awards for artwork, then expanding that passion into selling original works of art for top dollar at the age of 16, she has channeled her creative flow into another work of art in film and has now added “author” to her list of accomplishments. As a Shaman in the British West Indies and British Overseas Territory, Kimberly was of service to those on a healing path.
Rooted in truth and self-awareness, her extensive education in EIQ (emotional intelligence quotient) has served her clients well in discovering the root causes of dis-ease in their body, mind, and spirit. Although her practical experience in corporate life provided for her family financially, she acknowledged that the “human” arts are the foundation of her passion. Building the world-class organization, Conscious Content, with her partner Brian Ross over the last several years has given herself and others a place for those who need a voice to be heard on issues that matter to humanity.
Her time as an “author” has been the most challenging and healing experience for Kimberly so far. The writing was easy, the recalling of sensitive experiences was not. After the significant loss of losing her 15-year-old son to a drowning phenomenon called “shallow water blackout” in March of 2020, it’s been necessary for Kimberly to find her voice to help others experiencing grief and trauma. There is a unique process of grieving and working through the experience of loss that is like a fingerprint for each person. The goal is to #liftthestigma and create a “light in the darkness” while uncovering grief and trauma in our lives. The book and complimentary film of the same name feature her best efforts with experts and survivors featured in this work to convey this important message. We must work through it and remember that “hope” is the most important ingredient along our journey.
About Brian Ross
Brian’s experience is rooted in business and the philosophy of servant leadership, which has been one of the most important aspects of his output to the world. Conscious Content was created in this space of gratitude and service with his partner Kimberly Resch. One of the more interesting facts about Brian’s leadership style is for him to lead by example and hold himself and everyone in his organization to the standard of “remarkable.” This required being present, listening more than talking, and feeling what the next, right move is for his organization.
Within this space, Conscious Content has manifested multiple awards for its feature films and short films in connection with Shaman Motion Pictures. These films have left an imprint of education and awareness to those who watch them. Now adding “author” to his long list of accomplishments, the book “Light in the Darkness: Uncovering Grief and Trauma” was a labor of love in every way. Created during the most unprecedented time in history for us, forging ahead with this message was imperative. It was necessary for this experience to be laid in the same foundation, as always, with one caveat of loss leading his journey this time.
Understanding that grief and trauma happen to nearly every person he connected with, there seemed to be a need for a positive experience while going through the healing process. “Light in the Darkness” was born and is a project that he is really proud of and excited to share with others. Everyone has experiences worth sharing, and in his newest life chapter as “author,” he took the deepest dive into himself and shared space with others willing to do the same. This resulted in showing us the “how”, the “why” and the “what” we may gain from knowledge and experience from others during our life journey.
